TOPIC ABSTRACT
Elasticsearch

Elasticsearch is a java based, open source, RESTful, distributed search and analytics engine built on top of Apache Lucene. It is backed by the Elastic Company and released under an Apache license. Elasticsearch is developed alongside a data-collection and log-parsing engine called Logstash, and an analytics and visualization platform called Kibana. The three products are designed for use as an integrated solution, referred to as the "Elastic Stack" (formerly the "ELK stack").

This talk will discuss how Search differs from SQL, how Elasticsearch works, and will describe how you can use a search engine like Elasticsearch to analyze your data.
