Montanejos: Rafting, Hiking & Kayak

Unimaginably beautiful & the most famous destination among foreign students: Montanejos,
It is famous for its natural beauty and for the waters springs that have a constant temperature all year round of 20º -25ºC. So you can bathe even in winter.
There is a legend that says the Moorish king, Abu Zeit, built these baths so that the queens could have the bath there and never lost their beauty.

We will have 3 different optional activities, you can choose one of them or simply enjoy nature, picnic or bathe in the hot springs.
The activities are, (Please choose carefully, It will be difficult to change them later)
▪️ Montanejos (Enjoy a weekend on the beaches of Montanejos)
▪️ Hiking (Montanejos + Hiking)
▪️ Kayak (Montanejos + Kayak)
▪️ Rafting (Montanejos + Rafting)

⚡Only Montanejos:
People who do not want to do any activity, Just relax near the river and water springs.

⚡Hiking (Montanejos + Hiking):
We will enjoy the hot springs, we will make a picnic and who wants to Hike is more then welcome to join us for a Hiking route of approx. 9 kms with medium Easy level and a duration of almost 3 hours.
During the hiking route we will enjoy the awesome views of the town and the mijares river, and a spillway, which has a capacity of throwing 41000 liters per second.
The Activity is approx for 3 hours.

⚡Kayak (Montanejos + Kayak):
We will enjoy the hot springs, we will have a picnic and for those who signed up for the kayak activity, will go with an adventure sports company (Multiaventura) who has loads of experience making kayak activity in the lakes of montanejos.
The Activity is approx. for 3 hours.

⚡Rafting (Montanejos + Rafting):
We will enjoy the hot springs, we will have a picnic and for those who signed up for the rafting activity, will go with an adventure sports company with who has loads of experience making Rafting activity in Montanejos. Rafting activity in the rapids of River Mijares with a rafting class III.
The Activity lasts for 3 hours.

📆 SCHEDULE
▪️ 9:30
Meeting in Avenida Aragon 31 (in front of Mestalla)
▪️ 10:30
Leaving at 9:30, we will arrive around 10:30 at Montanejos and we will have a break and lunch.
▪️ Next:
We will separate groups by different activities. Who had chosen Kayak / Rafting, will go with the sport company respectively their chosen activity. And whoever wants to go hiking comes with us and the rest stays on the river beaches and enjoy nature.
▪️ After Activities:
After activities we will come back to the water springs, to have a bath, to picnic, have a rest.
▪️ 18:00/18:30
Start coming back to Valencia.

🧳 WHAT TO BRING
Beach material: Towel, Bathing suit, Sun cream, some volleys, frisbees, etc..
Food and drinks: Bring food and water for the whole day
Hiking: Bring hiking shoes if you want to hike

Cost: Each activity has its price, please be careful when choosing, then it cannot be change
Solo Montanejos: 17 euros
Montanejos + Hiking: 17 + 0: 17 euros (Max 50 places)
Montanejos + Kayak: 17 + 23: 40 euros (Max 20 places)
Montanejos + Rafting: 17 + 33: 50 euros. (Max 20 places)
