"Free America" Marching Group at the Boom Box Parade​

On July 4th at 11:00 AM, we’ll be marching from Jillson Square through downtown Willimantic alongside a wave of community groups, youth, musicians, and everyday patriots. We’ll bring signs, music, and sweet treats to share with the crowd, plus a whole lot of people power!
This year, the CCAG parade contingent will proudly represent Free America, a national movement led by Women’s March to declare our independence from hate, greed, and billionaire rule. We’re joining with actions across the country, demanding a nation that puts people and planet first.

We're marching to:

• Free America from the grip of greedy billionaires who rig the system for themselves
• Free America from poverty and unjust budget cuts
• Free America from bigotry, fear-mongering, and authoritarianism
• Protect our freedoms before they’re gone

Parade details:

• No pre-registration needed to march, just RSVP here so we know to look out for you!
• Formation starts at 9:00 AM at Jillson Square, parade steps off at 11:00 AM
• Don’t forget your radio or boom box tuned to WILI 1400-AM or 95.3 FM
• Wear red, white, and blue. Get ready to march with joy and resistance!
