Challenging, yet Mindful Hike at Black Rock State Park and Leatherman Cave.

Another visit to Black Rock State Park and Leatherman Cave is our next Mindful Hike. THIS IS A CHALLENGING HIKE. **This is not for beginners or those with physical limitations. There are lots of ups and downs challenging spots to navigate. Please do not attend unless you are confident in your hiking abilities and mostly can keep up with the group. This group will also begin offering easier hikes in the near future. Please read full group description. All hike end times are not guaranteed.
This hike will be about 4.5 miles with an elevation of 750 ft. We will also learn of the local legend the Leatherman and pass through his favorite cave during this hike.
Our hikes have been great successes and I’d like to thank all attendees for their contribution to a good events. Proper hiking footwear and adequate water are necessary. Bringing additional gear like poles or spikes is a personal safety decision.
We will also be incorporating mindfulness skills into our hike like breathing and grounding techniques. As short presentation about mindfulness, group rules and upcoming events will be given before the hike begins.
**We would appreciate if phones are put on silent. Please No PETS or children due to promoting a more mindful experience and overall group member comfort.
