Bus stop bench build - Hartford

Overview

• Meet at Colt Park to assemble benches. Should take about 2 hours to build 3 benches
• Set each bench at the stops and lock to pole
• Reconvene at Colt Park to discuss challenges and ideas for the next build
• Event will be rescheduled in the event of rain, snow, or extreme cold

Note: The bench pictured is a 6' bench we built. We learned that making a shorter bench would be more durable, so these benches we build will be 4'. Made of PE plastic legs and 2x4s for the seat and back rest.
