This talk will cover tips for selecting and matching typefaces, the latest techniques for optimising custom font performance, and how to use modern CSS for fluid type that scales seamlessly across devices. πŸ‘½ Speaker ------------------- Justin Slack is head of design and front-end at NML, a software development company in Cape Town. He is fluent in HTML, CSS and javascript, and slightly obsessive about typography, web standards, and user centred design. He co-founded the Cape Town front-end developers group in 2012 and is one of the co-founders of the non-profit organisation, Front-end Development South Africa (FEDSA). πŸŽ₯ Do I need a webcam? ------------------- We highly encourage everyone to join by means of video (if they are able to).
