We are very excited to be announcing our next Health 2.0 Connecticut MeetUp at the Stamford Innovation Center on Monday November 18, 2013. This will be a fantastic opportunity to hear from local entrepreneurs about how their ideas leveraging new technology and transforming the future of health and wellness. Plus don't forget - lots of great networking.

Perfect for anyone interested in the future of health, wellness and technology including, entrepreneurs, developers, researchers, health and wellness professionals, investors and any one else with interest in Health 2.0. Some of the topics we will cover may include mobile health, patient-centered innovation, personal medicine, quantified self and emerging opportunities in the healthcare industry. Health 2.0 Connecticut is a hub for entrepreneurs, enterprises, organizations and investors to present opportunities, provide mentorship and engage in conversation with the extended community.

Presentations:

Clifford (Kip) Hewitt, Managing Director of Caduceus Partners, will be discussing the increasing importance of patient engagement and consumer driven health care as a factor in challenging the business models of every sector of the health care industry, and the resulting opportunities to create innovative technologies and tools to enable and empower patients and families to self-manage their health and their health care. Mr. Hewitt has a BA from Princeton University and an MBA from the Harvard Business School

Raymond Curatolo, President of Next Health will talk about how his company is developing a new generation of patient transfer and movement systems leveraging IP technology, sensors and data to help improve quality of life and improve outcomes.

Alden Stevens, AmbioHealth, develops products for monitoring health using wireless connectors and automatically transferring data for tracking and reporting.

Registration is $10. We will be serving pizza, beer, and dessert.
