Details

This is the event information from the ACLU of Connecticut:

Join us for the Connecticut opening screening of “RBG” on Friday, May 11 at Madison Art Cinema.

You know her name. You know her dissents. But do you know her story?

You’re invited to join the ACLU of Connecticut, CWEALF (Connecticut Women’s Education and Legal Fund), NARAL Pro-Choice Connecticut and Planned Parenthood of Southern New England, together with Madison Art Cinemas, for a very special opening night screening of “RBG.” This new documentary highlights Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s legal legacy, from co-founding the ACLU Women’s Rights Project, to her current tenure as Supreme Court Justice, while also outlining how she has become a pop culture icon.

Immediately after the film, we’ll host a discussion with leaders from the ACLU of Connecticut, CWEALF, NARAL-CT, and Planned Parenthood of Southern New England.
