Monthly Meeting - Plastic in our Water

As part of our ongoing series on water, we're pleased to present Yale Professor Emeritus of Environmental Chemistry Gaboury Benoit, Ph.D. Professor Benoit has spent his career uncovering how chemicals move through water, soil, and living systems. In this talk he will share his ongoing research on the plastics moving through New Haven’s rivers, marshes, and harbor. Join us to learn more about the hidden pollutants right here in our local environment!

We will begin with half an hour of coffee and conversation at 6:30 PM, followed by the main program after brief announcements at 7:00 PM.
