Data Science User Group monthly meetup

For our February meetup, we are excited to welcome Ali Taghibakhshi from Nvidia. Ali will be presenting on the foundations and applications of denoising diffusion-based generative modeling. His presentation will also include a general introduction on text-to-image models.

Speaker bio:
Ali has a PhD from UIUC, specializing in scientific machine learning (between CS and Mechanical Engineering). He has been working for Nvidia since May 2023 on generative AI alignment/fine-tuning, specifically on Text-to-Image Models, Vision Language Models, and RLHF.
