Looking for a fun way to get active, meet great people, and learn how to dance? Welcome to 3 Plus 2 Cuban Dance Company!
Whether you have two left feet or you’ve been dancing for a while, our Cuban Salsa (Casino) classes are designed to be high-energy, totally welcoming, and easy to follow. We break down the steps so you can start dancing to the rhythm on day one. Plus, we have free dancing time after class!
What to expect:
- No Partner Required: We rotate partners throughout the class, which is the best way to learn fast and meet everyone in the room! (If you come with a partner and prefer to stay together, that's completely fine too).
- Beginner Friendly: We have a dedicated section for absolute beginners. You don't need any prior dance experience.
- The Vibe: Casual, zero-intimidation, and incredibly fun. We focus on building a great community just as much as teaching great dance technique.
The Schedule (Every Tuesday & Thursday):
- 7:30 PM - 8:00 PM: Fundamentals (Perfect for absolute beginners!)
- 8:00 PM - 9:00 PM: Beginner / Beginner II / Intermediate (Note: We also have Advanced and Rueda de Casino classes at 9:00 PM, but please contact us directly before attending those as they are not walk-in classes).
The Details:
- Where: Miami Hispanic Cultural Arts Center (111 SW 5th Ave, Miami, FL)
- Parking: There is parking right on the premises! If the main lot is full, there is additional parking available in the back.
- What to wear: Comfortable clothes you can move and sweat in. For shoes, wear sneakers or dance shoes—just avoid heavy boots or high heels without ankle support.
- Cost: * Fundamentals Class (7:30 PM): $5
- Main Class (8:00 PM): $15
