Have you ever wanted to learn Salsa but weren't sure where to start? Maybe you've never danced before, don't have a partner, or simply want to try something completely new.

We're starting a brand-new four-week Absolute Beginner Cuban Salsa series, and you don't need ANY previous dance experience!
The curriculum starts completely from scratch in a beautiful NYC dance studio, with a comfortably sized group that allows our instructors to give everyone plenty of attention. And you absolutely do NOT need a partner—we rotate partners throughout the class, giving you the opportunity to practice with different people in a relaxed, friendly, and pressure-free environment.
It's a fun way to learn the fundamentals while also getting comfortable with the social side of Salsa. ✨
🇨🇺 WHAT IS CUBAN SALSA?
Cuban Salsa, also known as Casino, is energetic, playful, musical, and incredibly social. You'll learn partnerwork, turns, rhythm, footwork, and the distinctive movements that make Cuban-style Salsa so much fun.
You'll also be introduced to Rueda de Casino—an exciting group dance where couples form a circle and constantly switch partners while following calls and executing fun patterns together. 💃🏼🕺🏼🔄

🔹 7:00–8:00pm | Absolute Beginner Cuban Salsa — Level 1
This class is designed specifically for absolute beginners with little to no dance experience.
Across this four-week series, you'll develop a strong foundation in Cuban Salsa while having a great time in a warm, relaxed, and social environment.
You'll work on:
• Rhythm & musicality 🎶
• Coordination & balance
• Basic Cuban Salsa steps & turn patterns
• Partnerwork & connection
• Fundamental Casino movements
• Lead & follow technique
• Social dancing etiquette & floorcraft
• Partner safety & confidence on the dance floor

We've got you covered, too! Our Wednesday schedule offers four progressive levels, so you can find the class that's right for you.
▫️ WEDNESDAYS — OCTOBER 7TH–28TH
🔹 7:00–8:00pm | Advanced Beginner / Improver Cuban Salsa & Rueda de Casino — Level 1.5
Designed for dancers who have completed our Level 1 series or already have some experience with Cuban Salsa.
You'll build upon the foundational movements of Casino, including:
Exhíbela • Dile Que No • Guapea • Enchufla-based patterns • Closed & open position transitions • Variations & combinations
You'll also develop your Rueda de Casino skills, with an emphasis on partner responsiveness, both leading and following, spatial awareness, and kinesthetic awareness.
The goal is to help you become a more confident social dancer and prepare you for the Intermediate Level.
🔹 8:00–9:00pm | Intermediate Cuban Salsa & Rueda de Casino — Level 2
Already know the basics? This is where you take things further. 🔥
Level 2 allows you to solidify, refine, and expand upon the fundamentals from Levels 1 and 1.5 while introducing more challenging combinations and variations.
You'll work on:
• Vacílala & Paséala variations
• Linear & lateral Guapea footwork
• More complex combinations
• Leading & following technique
• Styling & body movement
• Salsa Suelta footwork
• Musicality & social dancing skills
