Come enjoy the game of chess with others at the Ontario Library.

We host this event once a month at the Ovitt Family Community Library. All age groups are welcome, this is a casual event, so light talking is completely fine, but we do encourage players to be mindful when more serious games are happening. We have people of all strengths at the game of chess, from national masters to completely new to the game. If you are a beginner, we more than welcome you to join us and many of our members would be excited to help you with understanding the game.

We have chess boards and chess clocks that may be borrowed during our events, but feel free to bring your own materials.

Feel free to add us on Chess.com, Cucamonga Chess.

(IMPORTANT) It is completely free to enter and play with others, although we are in need of donations to continue operating our club. We have been running Cucamonga Chess since 2020, and the fees that the club has incurred have been paid through our small fundraisers, from generous regular players, and everything else paid out of pocket from a college student currently running the club.

A small $5 donation a month from each of our regular members would help pay for the operating costs and help us to create more events for the Southern California community at large! Please consider donating, thank you in advance.

We host a private classroom at the Ovitt Family Library (215 East C Street Ontario 91764). Our room is the main meeting hall, as you walk into the library, we will be on the left-hand side, two double doors, you can't miss us. You can contact me at 909-544-6561 or message me here on Meetup if you have any questions.
