Workshop Connecting from within

Details

Feeling connected is a primary need. But connection is more than just closeness, it is found in the combination of authenticity and acceptance. Feeling, recognising and expressing both your desires and boundaries. This workshop provides a sandbox for you to consciously experiment with elements of connection, boundaries and desires, and becoming aware of your own defaults in it.

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
Focus: Connecting with yourself and from there with others
Elements: meditation, touch, consent, cuddling, breathing techniques
Level: no experience required, clothes stay on

This workshop is based on consent. This means that all activities are an invitation and touch is not required to fully participate in the workshop.

Short overview of the program
13:30 - Walk in. Meditate, dance, drink some tea… Feel welcome to be and not having to do anything else.
14:00 - Start program (doors close!)
16:00 - End

The doors open at 13:30, we start at 14:00 precisely (and the doors will close). It is important for everyone to be there on time, so we can create a safe space with all of us and go through the guidelines from the start.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

  • to create a safe space we ask participants to keep to the guidelines that are discussed at the beginning of the workshop.
  • Wear comfortable clothing in which you feel nice.
  • Everybody is welcome. This can mean that there is a gender imbalance in the group. You work with whom you want to work with, however we don’t stimulate genderphobia (meaning we will not actively match you with someone from your preferred gender if you have one)
  • When you are not respectful, cross boundaries or display other behaviour that jeopardizes the safety of the group we can ask you to leave the workshop.
  • You are responsible for your own wellbeing. This means that you can always voice your boundaries. We will never force you to do anything.
  • Natural, clean scents are the best! Heavy perfume can be overwhelming for others. Bringing a towel and/or an extra set of clean clothes can be nice if you strained yourself before the workshop.

If you still have questions or insecurities, let us know; we are happy to help you!
