Greetings cuddlers, snugglers, and others...

Official Cuddle Party Seattle is trying a little experiment for end of April and all of May. We have been asked time and time again "Why don't we have weekly Cuddle Parties" so we are going to give it a try. The Cuddle Parties will be a mix of Thursday or Sunday Parties! We will average about 1 party a week. This is a great time to come out and dive into Boundaries/Consent/Asking for what you want/Listening to your Body and giving honest Yes/No answers!!!!

Engage in Conscious Cuddling! What is that? It is a way of being present in your body, yourself while asking for what you want and then giving honest YES or NO answers. It is a way to engage with one another and practice communication skills while receiving/giving non sexual touch!

We will start promptly at 6 PM (Doors at 5:40 - 5:55 PM) and end at 9:30 PM.

We start with a opening Circle where we go over the Rules of Cuddling and get to know one another and from there we engage in Conscious Cuddling! What is that? It is a way of being present in your body, yourself while asking for what you want and then giving honest YES or NO answers. It is a way to engage with one another and practice communication skills while receiving/giving non sexual touch! And these skills translate outside of Cuddle Party to day to day life!
What is Cuddle Party?

Cuddle Party is a short workshop in non-sexual touch, boundaries and communication, followed by a couple of hours to put what you’ve learned into practice by enjoying and exploring touch. (Think hugs, foot rubs, back rubs, spooning and just general non-sexual snuggling.)

Cuddle Party is a holistic, social environment, that attracts fascinating people from all walks of life. It provides a special and unique opportunity for connection, learning and growth. Come cuddle with us!

A trained facilitator gently leads you and the other guests through an orientation, where you’ll learn to make easy, respectful requests and communicate clear boundaries, and where we’ll go over the simple rules. Then you’ll have plenty of time to relax, chat, cuddle, have a snack, or just hang out.

Cuddle Party is not a sexual event! Everyone remains clothed in pajamas and agrees to the Cuddle Party Rules, which include:

• Arrive on time for the welcome circle/orientation.
• Ask for what you want and get a verbal “yes” before proceeding.
• You don’t have to cuddle anyone you don’t want to, or anyone at all, ever.

Some people are already comfortable with touch and can’t wait to be in a place where that’s OK. Others aren’t even sure they want any touch at all, but come to explore some communication skills. Others are just curious about what it might be like. Whatever your reasons, a Cuddle Party is a great playground for discovering more about yourself, for exploring new ways of connecting with others, or simply enjoying a relaxing, cozy evening with other cuddly souls.

Most Cuddle Parties (unless otherwise specified) include both women and men, (about 10-25 people) and are held at private homes here in Seattle. They last about 3 ½ hours. Sometimes we host parties for particular groups, like women only, or seniors, or singles. We charge a modest fee to cover the training, time and responsibilities of our facilitators. Adults only (18 and up).

Nurturing and consensual loving touch is good for maintaing healthy blood pressure, a strong nervous system and a balanced emotional health. One’s ability to connect with and develop greater trust in others is emphasized during the group exchanges during Cuddle Party’s. Self-care is a cornerstone of Cuddle Party experience.
