Where does touch come into your relationships? Only with a significant other? With friends? Or is it pervasive in your way of relating to others?

I'm a massage therapist so I'm adept at touching others confidently and therapeutically. (In this context, 'therapeutic' has a built-in emotional distance.)

Someone asks "Are you a hugger?" What's your response?

No easy response. LOVE to hug but... not an initiator with friends, family & acquaintances. BIG initiator with romantic partner and kids (where socially acceptable) and pets.

When did you realize that touch is important to you? Or has it always been?

Probably realized in puberty. Of course it's always been important.

Have you ever thought about going to a Cuddle Party? Why or why not?

Have thought about it a lot for a while... always had some scheduling issue. Wish there were more events going on.
