Cultivating Knowledge In Our Local Soil is a space for neighbors to come together, get our hands dirty, and learn the practical skills needed to grow food and native plants in our specific climate. We believe that gardening is a craft best learned through shared experience, so whether you have managed a plot for years or are just starting your first container garden, you have something to contribute and something to learn here.
Our meetups focus on the cycle of the seasons. We get together to share tips on soil health, composting, pest management, and seed saving, often working side-by-side in local garden spaces. The goal is to build a supportive network where we can troubleshoot our failures, celebrate our harvests, and help each other become more self-reliant and connected to the land right outside our doors.
