Santa Monica's Montana Avenue Art Walk

Santa Monica is shutting down 10 blocks of Montana Ave. for a free Route 66 celebration with classic cars, live music. Montana Avenue Art Walk will become a pedestrian-friendly destination packed with activities. The event is free. Here’s what you can look forward to:
🎶 Live music: A curated stage featuring local musicians and performances throughout the day.
🎨 Art and creative experiences: Fine art displays, interactive installations, and opportunities to discover local artists.
🛍️ Shopping and local vendors: Artisan vendors, boutiques, and neighborhood businesses with special experiences.
🍽️ Food and drinks: Participating restaurants will be part of the event’s Entertainment Zone, with drinks-to-go available for attendees.
🌿 Wellness and family activities: Dedicated programming for families, interactive experiences, and wellness activities.
🚗 Classic cars: A showcase celebrating the spirit of the historic highway.

GETTING THERE:

• Metro E Line (Gold) 17TH Street / SMC AND 1.2-mile walk (~30 minutes)
• Please allow extra time and consider walking or biking if you’re nearby
• Ride-share drop-off recommended near 9th or 14th Street

PARKING: Street parking is available throughout the neighborhood
RESTROOM: La La Land; yet there should be other public restrooms & restaurants available
PLAN: We can each get our own tasty beverage / breakfast, greet and meet with attendees. Following conversation, we will then get paired or grouped up and head out on our Montana Ave tour. We may switch up the groups at the far end so there is an opportunity to connect with more people.

LIABILITY: The organizer is an uncompensated and untrained volunteer. By joining this event each member accepts full responsibility for knowing their limits, for all injuries, health issues, material losses, assessing all risks and for getting lost. Each member shall make their guests aware of these policies and releases the host from all liability.
