Jazz and Orchestra? Then consider joining us at this special concert at the Detroit Library Auditorium. Here is the description provided:

Join us for an afternoon of Classic Jazz Repertoire Flute Orchestra Style.
The Michigan Flute Orchestra, led by Conductor Gail Green, brings together professional and semi-professional flutists from Detroit and the greater metropolitan area. This distinctive ensemble showcases the complete flute family—featuring piccolo, traditional C flutes, alto flutes, bass flutes, and contrabass flutes—spanning an impressive six-octave range.
Before this meetup we will also have a gathering at the Hellenic museum up the street from 1 to 2:30 if you want to combine the 2 events. Sign up accordingly. That is a separite listing:
