Friendly Collegial lunch at The Town Tavern 2/27 Friday
Town Tavern, 201 Massachusetts Ave, Arlington, MA, USPlease read carefully -- two-step signup process. You must sign up at Eventbrite to attend:
Remember when you worked in an office, and they gave you some time to eat lunch in the cafeteria, and you actually pulled yourself away from your desk and went and ate lunch with other people? Nah, I don't remember that either, but it sure sounds like fun. And, it's the law. If your employer denied you a lunch break, you'd be filing a complaint with the state so fast. About 25 people expressed interest, which means that probably five to eight people will show up.
The others will all have good excuses, such as, "It's too cold," "I'm too tired," "I have too much work," "I have a deadline," "my clients need me," etc. I don't want to hear your excuses, Please don't bore me with those lame-o excuses, I just want you to show up. it will be at some eatery near Mass Ave in Arlington. I will call tom'w and see if there's some place good that can accommodate eight of us for lunch. RSVP by obtaining a free ticket at eventbrite, first come, first served.
