Gimmeldingen Mandelblütenfest (Almond Blossom Festival)

Spring has sprung, the almond trees are in blossom and the vintners of the Deutsche Weinstraße have opened their doors: it is the Mandelblütenfest once more. Gimmeldingen, a picturesque village near Neustadt-an-der-Weinstraße, is hosting a festival with food and drink stalls as visitors enjoy the scenery of the trees in bloom. All are welcome!

Join us at the entrance to Kaiserslautern Hbf around 10:20, when we will catch the RE1 @ 10:34 to Neustadt-an-der-Weinstraße. (Included in your D-Ticket, or else buy a cheap regional on the day.) It is a short train ride to Neustadt Hbf, then an easy walk from there to Gimmeldingen. You can also meet us directly in Neustadt. We are going relatively early, because it WILL be busy! Remember cash if you want to buy something.
