Join us for a special screening of Letters from Wolf Street, the opening film of this year’s RIDM Festival in Montreal.

Directed by Indian-born filmmaker Arjun Talwar, the documentary traces his journey after moving from India to Poland to study cinematography, and offers a deeply personal, immersive portrait of his Warsaw neighbourhood, his neighbours, and the immigrant experience.

The film premiered in the boundary-pushing Panorama section of this year’s Berlin International Film Festival. Critics and audiences have praised the film for its warmth, humour and emotional weight: one review calls it “a potent antidote to hatred.” Reviews on Letterboxd
