Join Sonatasia and On Impulse Actors at Ulrike's House, high in the hills overlooking Laguna Beach. Award winning writer, producer and director Pamela Peak will be leading a private performance of "Awakening at Sunset", an adaptation of the American classic "Spoon River Anthology" by Edgar Lee Masters. As the sun sets low and evening draws nigh, the characters of Spoon River begin to appear one by one and reveal their stories and secrets. Atmospheric, moving, and thought provoking, the drama will unfold all around you. Featuring acclaimed vocalist Caroline Nelms and interpretive dancer Seonag Bauer, this will be a thrilling musical theater experience you will not want to miss!

The event takes place in a 1970's multi level home, designed by renowned Laguna Beach architect John McGinnis, and exemplifies the unique charm and character of that era. Before and after the show, mingle, meet people and make new friends. Wine and cheese will be served.
