This is Munich's finest social group for cultured, well-traveled, tertiary-educated professionals over the age of 30 - open to expats and Germans alike. You do not have to work in academia to join this group.
Working a demanding career which might include national and international relocations can make it challenging to build and maintain a stable and enriching circle of friends; but fret not, you found the right place to come to.
We meet at reasonable hours for casual drinks (and sometimes a bite to eat) in respectable establishments across the city, to engage in thoughtful yet light-hearted conversation with the goal of spending an enjoyable time together and building new friendships.
The official language of the group and all meetups is English but members may switch to other languages as long as everyone around understands it.
Organizers strive to create a diverse yet balanced mix of genders, cultural and professional backgrounds as well as a pleasant and positive atmosphere in the group and at all meetups.

- want to get black-out drunk. Most of us enjoy the odd beer, wine, cocktail or shot, but we keep it civil. We're not 22 anymore, after all...
- look for business partners or clients. This group is not about professional networking.
- search for your next hook-up. Aggressive flirting is frowned upon in this group.
