Yep, whether you’re a seasoned vocalist or a secret shower/car perfomer, the band will transform you from a serious city of London high flying executive by day into a pop star for the night so come n let off some corporate steam. And if you have a natural sense of rhythm it would be selfish not to do some funky dance moves and hip sway to the baseline as no rock star performance is complete without!

Of course you don't actually need to get up on the stage and sing/pertform - as long as you are a genuine music fan you are welcome to socialise, cheer, singalong and dance with the exuberant audence as the rest of us rock the crowd. All we want people with genuine authentic passion. If you got nothing else better to do then sorry but this event is probably not for you.

Unless I have a 9AM Thursday deadline client presentation to deliver - after the band finishes around 11.15ish, most of us usually head to one of our regular music bars in Camden to continue the enjoyable fun.

=== Notes For Singers/Performers ===
Most of us are not professional singers - we do this for pure love of music but..if you've never sung live with a band on stage - select a song that you know the lyrics well off the top of your head along with timing as this is NOT Karaoke or a studio jamming session! You only get one chance with the band in real time, no practice, rehearsal or any of that lark.

You don't need to have beautiful sounding vocals like Zara Larsson or Sam Cooke but ideally you'll be able to carry a tune (no fake autotune here) or the talented band who are very passionate about their art will think you're takin the piss so let's make it a nice musical experience for them too! Luckily we'll have two experienced guitarists (base and electric), a drummer and two backing vocalists. Song coverage will cover a multiplicity of genres spanning multiple decades including pop, soul/blues, rock, RnB, country - contemporary to classics - so there should be a song for you (as long as you don't steal one of mine!)

We usually meet near the bar area but will share my number on the eve and update in the comments section on whereabouts we are. Note I have people coming from my other group so total RSVPs is higher than the individuals you see here, hence the cap on numbers.
