"La exposición Tinta contra Hitler es la presentación en Barcelona del descubrimiento del único artista catalán y español que trabajó masivamente para la propaganda británica y de los aliados durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial. Del 1941 al 1945, el catalán Mario Armengol Torrella (Sant Joan de les Abadesses, 1909 - Nottingham, 1995) dibujó unos dos mil cartoons o caricaturas al servicio del Ministerio de Información británico contra el Tercer Reich y el Eje para publicarlos en diarios y revistas de países aliados de Londres y neutrales, desde Nueva Zelanda a Haití."

We're going to visit the exhibition "Ink Against Hitler" at the MNAC. We'll meet at the museum entrance. There's free entry on Saturday afternoons.
"The exhibition Ink against Hitler is the presentation in Barcelona of the discovery of the only Catalan and Spanish artist who worked massively for British and Allied propaganda during the Second World War. From 1941 to 1945, the Catalan Mario Armengol Torrella (Sant Joan de les Abadesses, 1909 - Nottingham, 1995) drew around two thousand cartoons or caricatures in the service of the British Ministry of Information against the Third Reich and the Axis to publish them in newspapers and magazines in London's allied and neutral countries, from New Zealand to Haiti."
