Beach Walk!

Join us for a beautiful, sunny, weekend walk along Santa Monica Beach! From the end of Ocean Park Blvd we'll walk south along the boardwalk to that wonderful area of little shops and vendors in Venice, then we'll walk out across the sand to the water's edge and stroll back on the beach itself!

We'll meet between 9:50am and 10:00am at the junction of Ocean Park Blvd & Barnard Way. We'll gather on the beach side of that junction.

Fitness level: If you don't have any difficulties walking on sand, then this is a very easy hike!

Parking: There're large parking lots all along that area of Barnard's way. Bring money to pay at the machines. Please give yourself enough time to park and walk to the meeting point BEFORE 10:00am. We'll start walking AT 10:00.

Dogs: Dogs aren't allowed on the beach. Sorry!

Weather: It's not very often that I need to cancel a hike due to bad weather, but if it is bad enough I'll post my decision here at 8:30am on the morning of the hike!

Water: It's a good idea to bring water to drink and maybe a bit of sunscreen.

Duration: This walk will last about an hour.
