Culver City Jams is a place for rock/blues/pop musicians to get a chance to play their instruments in a low-pressure environment and network with other musicians in the West LA area.
IMPORTANT: To get in on the jams - join the wait list for the event!
I will be in contact with you to make sure we have room for your instrument. Please note new attendees must confirm the day before the jam that you will be there. If we don't hear from you, your place will be given to another jammer on the wait list.
You can be an amateur (but not a total beginner) or advanced/expert/professional (if you don’t mind jamming with amateurs). Each event announcement will list our songs for the night or you can check out previous events for our songs list!
Events are held at a rehearsal space that comes with a full drum kit, amps, and mics.

Merging contemporary jazz with odd-meter rhythms, this trio showcases Dirk K’s exceptional musicianship, developed through his collaborations with jazz legends such as Randy Brecker, Peter Erskine, Toots Thielemans, Dave Weckl, Bob Moses and many more. Joining Dirk K are two extraordinary talents: Joel Taylor, a legendary drummer known for his work with Allan Holdsworth, Al Di Meola, and Larry Carlton, etc., and Logan Kane, a rising-star bassist and composer from Los Angeles’s thriving jazz scene. Together, they’ll deliver a high-energy performance that blends intricate rhythms with electrifying improvisation.
