Discover how the city prepares to respond to various kinds of emergencies in this Introduction to Emergency Management in NYC session. This Meetup will introduce you to the concepts of emergency management as applied in NYC and provide an overview of NYCEM operations, including:
• Agency mission
• NYC’s Emergency Operations Center
• NYCEM Field Response
• Interagency planning

Participants will also be able to tour NYCEM facilities, including the Situation Room, Watch Command and Briefing Room.
