Join us for a French film (with English subtitles) at the Museum of Fine Arts, followed by an optional lunch and conversation nearby.

About the Film
The Girl in the Snow (L’engloutie) is an atmospheric French drama set in an isolated Alpine village at the turn of the 20th century. A young schoolteacher arrives to bring modern education to the village, only to find herself navigating long-held traditions, superstition, and an unfamiliar way of life.

Please purchase your movie ticket directly from the MFA as soon as possible. Film Festival screenings often sell out in advance, and your RSVP to this meetup does not reserve a seat for the screening. Tickets are $18 for non-members and $15 for members

Schedule
10:30 AM - Meet inside Museum of Fine Arts, just past the main entrance (or near the theater entrance if that’s easier on the day). If you arrive early, feel free to grab a coffee from one of the museum cafés while everyone gathers.
We’ll spend a little time introducing ourselves before heading to the theater together.

11:00 AM – 12:45 PM - Film screening.

Around 1:00 PM - For anyone who’s interested, we’ll head to a nearby café or restaurant for lunch and continue the conversation. Completely optional, but we’d love to have you join!
