On "Original Sin"
Details
For this meeting, let's explore a little more about the Christian notion of "original sin"-- a doctrine that holds that all people possess a moral corruption as a consequence of the sin of Adam and Eve, resulting in a sinful disposition manifesting itself in habitually sinful behavior.
Are people innately sinful?
Is this a fair inheritance for every human to have?
What if we regard the creation story as myth instead of history?
And what, if anything, can we do about the way that we are?
Come join for a stimulating session, some great food, and perhaps a drink or two.
