Join us to visit a country that sits between Croatia, Serbia and Montenegro, with a countryside of soaring mountains, rural communities and tranquil pastures. A fascinating yet complex country created by the meeting of the Byzantine and Ottoman civilisations.

You’ll see amazing architecture in cities such as Sarajevo and Mostar, indulge in delicious and varied cuisine reflecting its past history, a land of rich culture, warm hospitality, and breath taking natural beauty.

Day 1 – LONDON – SARAJEVO SARAJEVO

RYAN AIR FLIGHT FROM STANSTED Sunday Sept 13th

Transfer straight from the airport to the hotel. Enjoy an evening stroll through the lively streets of the city and feel the warm atmosphere of Sarajevo and prepare for the adventure ahead.

Day 2 SARAJEVO OLD TOWN BJELASNICA QUAD ADVENTURE SARAJEVO

After breakfast, set out to explore Sarajevo’s charming OLD TOWN, Baščaršija. Discover its cobblestone streets, historic mosques & artisan shops

We then visit THE LATIN BRIDGE , an Ottoman-era stone bridge across the Miljacka River, known as the site of the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand in 1914, the event which led to the outbreak of World War I.

In the afternoon we head up to Bjelašnica Mountain for an exciting quad bike tour through breath taking landscapes OR a hike in the area. End the day with dinner and free time to enjoy the vibrant city nightlife.

INTERESTING FACTS

Bosnia & Herzegovina is home to one of Europe's last primeval forests, it has a complex political structure with a rotating tripartite presidency, where a Bosniak, a Croat, and a Serb member serve collectively. The country is also known as the "Heart-Shaped Land" and has a deep-rooted coffee culture (number 10 globally in terms of per capita consumption).

It is home to the Ark D-0, a massive nuclear bunker built by the Yugoslav government. The official languages are Bosnian, Croatian, and Serbian. The country's flag features a yellow triangle, with the points representing the three main ethnic groups: Bosniaks, Croats, and Serbs.

Day 3 MEDIEVAL FORTRESS WATERFALL ROYAL CITY BIHAC

We then travel across the heart of Bosnia from Sarajevo to Bihać via Travnik and Jajce. Our first stop is Travnik, the old Ottoman capital, known for its colorful mosques and medieval fortress.

Continue to Semesnica waterfall, a peaceful oasis surrounded by nature, and then to Jajce the royal city with its majestic waterfall in the town centre. By evening, you’ll arrive in Bihać, where we’ll settle into our hotel and enjoy a relaxing dinner.

Day 4 JAPODIAN ISLANDS UNA NATIONAL PARK OSTROZAC CASTLE BIHAC

Visit the stunning Una National Park & Štrbački Buk waterfall and feel the power of the river as it cascades through the lush forest.
Continue to the serene Japodian Islands, the charming town of Bosanska Krupa, before returning to Bihać and visit the quaint Ostrožac Castle

Day 5 MOSTAR OLD BRIDGE ENCHANTING BAZAAR MOSTAR

After breakfast we’ll drive south through scenic mountain landscapes toward Mostar. Upon arrival, take a guided tour of this enchanting city, famous for its iconic Old Bridge (Stari Most), a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Stroll through the old bazaar, admire Ottoman-era architecture, and enjoy the unique foods & cultural blends of East and West that define Mostar.

Day 6 KRAVICA WATERFALLS MONASTERY MEDIEVAL VILLAGE MOSTAR

Herzegovina region. Begin in Blagaj, home to the mystical Dervish Monastery built beside the crystal-clear source of the Buna River.
Continue to Počitelj, a picturesque medieval stone village overlooking the Neretva Valley. The highlight of the day is Kravica Waterfalls a magical natural oasis where you can relax, swim, and take in the beauty of the cascading waters.

Day 7 NERETVA RIVER TUNNEL OF HOPE CABLE CAR RIDE SARAJEVO

Neretva River, surrounded by pristine nature and emerald waters. Afterwards, return to Sarajevo to visit the historic Tunnel of Hope.
End the day with a cable car ride to Trebević Mountain for panoramic views of Sarajevo and a farewell dinner celebrating our unforgettable journey.

Day 8 - Departure from SARAJEVO. Spend the day in Sarajevo and then evening flight back on Sunday Sept 20th or travel the following morning Monday Sept 21st
