THE 10 BRIDGES WALK

PUTNEY BRIDGE UNDERGROUND STATION - RICHMOND STATION (LINEAR WALK)

SATURDAY DEC 27th

START 10.30 am PUTNEY BRIDGE UNDERGROUND STATION (District line)

FINISH 16.00pm (Richmond Bridge) (10-15 mins walk to Richmond station)

Finish times can be earlier or later depending on group speed

Distance: 9.6 miles (15.5 km)

Pace: Brisk

Terrain: Flat. Along towpaths

A delightful riverside jaunt passing by 10 iconic bridges along the Thames path. We begin at Putney Bridge Underground Station (District Line) and end at Richmond Bridge (10 -15 mins walk to Richmond Station).

We'll follow the Thames river's towpath and come across the following Bridges Putney Hammersmith Barnes Railway Chiswick Kew Railway Kew Richmond Lock Twickenham Richmond Railway Richmond We'll stop very briefly at each bridge.

We'll also pass a few other sights along the way Please bring a packed lunch and water (which we'll have somewhere along the walk)

PUB STOP (45 mins)

We will also stop at a pub near Barnes Bridge where you can order a drink / chips etc.. but not a long lunch break so don't order a big lunch...
