This is a place where curious people can come together. We believe that discussions about meaningful topics shouldn't be limited to just a few people, but should be open and engaging for everyone.
The Curious Souls Cafe is a welcoming space, like a cozy neighborhood café, where you can gather with others, share ideas, and nourish both your mind and spirit. Whether you're already knowledgeable or you're just starting to explore these topics, you'll find a supportive community of fellow curious people who are ready to discuss, and learn together.
Our discussions cover a wide range of subjects -- from the nature of consciousness and the meaning of life, to the ethical challenges of our modern world. We'll explore the ideas of great thinkers, both past and present, and see how their insights can shed light on our everyday lives.
But this isn't a lecture hall. The focus here is on participatory dialogue, where everyone can respectfully share their perspectives, personal experiences and discover new ideas together. Over cups of coffee and slices of homemade pie, we'll explore humanity's biggest questions, and maybe even uncover some life-changing insights along the way.

💬 Round 1: Reflective Icebreaker with Curious Souls' Questions
We’ll begin by revisiting the heart of our community: your previous questions. Dive into a curated collection of 155+ thought-provoking prompts written by past participants in Hong Kong and beyond. Pick a card, share its origin (e.g., “This one’s from a Curious Soul in Taipei!”), and ignite conversations that honor our shared journey.
💬 Round 2: Focused Discussion – Building on Our Legacy
After warming up, we’ll gather in a circle to explore a fresh topic inspired by your new questions. Bring a new question or draw from the icebreaker deck (now enriched by our community’s history). Together, we’ll vote on a question to unpack, weaving in reflections from past dialogues and new perspectives alike.
💬 Round 3: Collective Reflection & Closing
In the final 10 minutes, we’ll pause to honor key insights and “aha” moments. How have our past questions shaped today’s conversation? What threads connect us across cities and experiences? Leave with a deeper appreciation for the wisdom we’ve built together—and where it might lead next.
Optional extension: If the group wishes, we’ll continue chatting informally after the official close. Feel free to stay or leave as needed.

This is the group's first physical event in Japan. We will be traveling to Osaka for a short duration. During this period, we will be organising a few events in Osaka.What is this event about?
This event aims to help one another dive deep into ourselves and uncover our inner wisdom. Through the use of question cards, we can explore topics like simple ice breakers, personal development, life purpose and relationships.The group can decide what kind of topics/card decks to use. There is also another format where each one can write their own questions for the group to share their perspectives on them. (You can see the photos for some of the question cards)
