"The best hosts know how to hold space for others, but rarely get the chance to simply be guests in their own community."

Normally, at a Curious Souls Cafe gathering, our organizers and hosts are the one meticulously curating the vibe, setting out the question decks, and guiding the conversation. This time, we are flipping the script: this optional meeting is designed to finally connect face-to-face, so sit back and let us hold the space for you.

Welcome to our first global organizers meetup—a special virtual gathering to connect, share stories, and brew curiosity globally. We are bringing together our incredible hosts across time zones, from Seoul to the USA, Singapore, Hong Kong, the Netherlands, and Switzerland.

In this special interactive event, we aren't just answering general questions; we are diving into the art of facilitation itself. We will share the magic by swapping our highs, lows, and funniest moments from hosting. Together, we will bond over custom questions using a brand new web app tool created just for us.

Bring your hard-earned wisdom, a collaborative spirit, and your favorite warm beverage. Let's discover what happens when we unleash the collective curiosity of our organizers.

Inviting hosts who...

🌍 Want to connect across time zones and meet the faces behind the global Curious Souls Cafe groups.
🤝 Enjoy swapping stories—the highs, the lows, and the funniest moments of running a cafe.
💡 Are eager to exchange tips, from general facilitation advice to the tricky task of handling dead quiet rooms.
🎲 Hope to bond with fellow hosts over custom questions by testing out our new Meta virtual prompt cards.

📅 Agenda / What You'll Experience

💬 The Global Check-In & Story Swap
After a brief welcome, we will break the ice by doing what we do best: sharing. We will open the floor for organizers to share the magic of their local cafes, discussing our favorite moments and the unexpected hurdles we've faced.

🎲 Enter "The Meta Deck"
Next, we will introduce "The Meta Deck" feature—a special deck for organizers, entirely about organizing CSC! Using our new web app, we will roll the virtual 3D dice to navigate the prompt cards.

💬 The Live Board Brainstorm
As we play through the Meta Deck, we will capture the brilliance in the room. We will use a live board for brainstorming tips, capturing all the fantastic facilitation advice and strategies for handling quiet rooms that surface during gameplay.

💬 Final Thoughts and Feedback
Where time allows, in the final 10 minutes of the event, we’ll take a moment to reflect on the key insights, memorable moments, and takeaways from our discussions. This is a chance to distill the shared wisdom and leave with a deeper understanding of the topics we’ve explored together.

After the event officially concludes, the group may choose to extend the session, depending on the group’s interest. To explore what our events are like, check out our official website at https://curioussouls.cafe

Note: Both the Meta deck and the Live Board require a smartphone per person to access the builder via a web link. If you do not have a device, don't worry—you can just jump in and discuss questions chosen by other people!
