A weekend immersion into the science of the nervous system, the ancient wisdom of yoga, and the inner fire of resilience

Join us for a transformative two-day experience that blends breath, movement, and cutting-edge neuroscience to support your nervous system and reset your inner world.
What You’ll Explore:
• The vagus nerve’s vital role in regulating stress, emotion, digestion, and connection
• How cortisol—the “stress hormone”—impacts your body, mind, and recovery
• Powerful tools to calm your system and gently lower cortisol levels
• Huberman Lab–inspired insights: the physiological sigh, cold exposure, and intermittent challenge
• Yogic wisdom on resilience: the Gunas, the Kleshas, Polyvagal Theory, and Sisu (Finnish grit)
• The science of post-traumatic growth and the practices that make it possible
What You’ll Practice:
• Breathwork to tone the vagus nerve and calm cortisol (diaphragmatic, alternate nostril, physiologic sigh)
• Gentle and dynamic yoga flows for resilience and regulation
• Somatic sequences, humming, mantra, and simulated cold exposure
• Journaling, group reflection, and ritual-based practices for embodied courage (safe for all faiths)
Workshop Details:
• When: Saturday & Sunday, August 9-10, 2025
• Time: Each day runs 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
• Where: Yoga Teachers School of Excellence (Jackson, TN)
• Faculty: Includes C-IAYTs, YACEPs, 500-hour E-RYTs, and a real yogi medical doctor to keep it real
• Open to yoga teachers, therapists, and dedicated students
• Tuition: $225 for the full weekend (CE credit included)
