What we’re about
### OUR MISSION
### Is to create a holistic and diverse hub for the cyber community in Scotland
All levels of experience are welcome, from those aspiring to enter the industry through to security experts. Our purpose is to provide regular, informal meetups where individuals can gather together to; network, and discuss the latest industry trends & hot topics within the security sector. Although still in our infancy, we are overwhelmed with the support we have received from our community.
### OUR HISTORY
### CSC originated from the merger of two InfoSec community meet-ups
Born out of a merger of two thriving security communities in late 2018. Former lead organiser of Security Scotland, Stu Hirst, and former lead organiser of Scotland Connect, Harry McLaren, decided to bring together these groups to diversify, unify and ignite a passionate and thriving Scottish security community under the newly created Cyber Scotland Connect.
