OSINT DATA SOURCE AND REALITY MODDING WORKSHOP WITH RAB BEVERLY

In this reality-bending workshop, we’ll look at data sources that can be used to find out about people, places, and things without any paywalls or credentials. But that’s not all! We’ll use what we find to plan nefarious acts, simulate forgeries, build lawsuits and class actions, and even show a real-time asset transfer with almost zero security. Have you ever suspected that your identity, your assets, and your life as you know it are on shaky grounds due to the massive scale and unprecedented nature of public records? After this, you’ll know! We’ll also demonstrate some defenses that private individuals and corporations can use to reduce their OSINT footprint and mitigate the risks discussed. About the presenter: Rab Beverly only recently learned the word OSINT! He started working with public records and other data sources over 20 years ago, using them for everything from ‘due diligence’ to catching embezzlers. Currently (among other things) he is working with lawyers and data analysts to help resolve insurance litigation; often using publicly available, but obscure, data.
