Purbecks picnic ride. Sandbanks ferry. About 13 miles

This is likely to be the last Cycle Tracks Purbecks ride this year.
Meet at the Sandbanks Ferry ticket office in time to catch the 1100hrs ferry.
Parking near the ferry is expensive, so you may prefer to park in residential streets about a mile away towards Poole and cycle up. If any of you prefer to meet on the Studland side instead (free parking at the roadside), please leave a comment to let me know.
Bring your own picnic, as the ride will last into the afternoon.
I anticipate we'll catch the ferry back about 1600hrs.

This ride will be largely similar to the June 28th Purbecks ride, but with minor changes to the route near the start and in the Rempstone estate area. There will still be the climb up to the Obelisk. I expect most of us will need to walk up the steepest bits.
Hopefully there will be enough time for a visit to Knoll Beach after lunch before heading back to the ferry.
There will be a picnic lunch stop en route. MTB strongly recommended.

Because of the picnic and the beach stop, this ride is very weather dependent. In the event of a poor weather forecast for that day, I'm likely to reschedule to the following Saturday, September 13th.

Please have your phone with you, and the leader's number stored in it.
Please also bring a spare inner tube, tyre levers and pump.

Please ensure that you follow the club rule, all riders must wear a cycle helmet at all times, if you fail to have a cycle helmet then you will be asked to leave the meetup, this is for your own safety.
