Hi everyone! 👋

This Sunday we’re going for a hike in beautiful Glendalough 🏞️.
We will combine carpooling and bus travel so everyone can join.

🗺️ Route details:
We'll hike the Glendalough Monastic Site Loop from Laragh — one of the most scenic walks in Wicklow.

✅ Distance: ~8 km (5 mi)
✅ Duration: about 2.5–3 hours at a relaxed pace
✅ Elevation gain: ~250 m (gentle climbs, suitable for most fitness levels)
✅ Highlights:

Walk through the monastic city and historic ruins

Pass by the Upper Lake and enjoy panoramic views of the valley

Forest trails and wooden boardwalk sections

A mix of gravel paths and woodland tracks — moderate but manageable terrain

Return from Glendalough: 4:30 PM
