On this iconic picture from 1969 we see John Lennon and Yoko Ono in bed with a white, Dutch bicycle.
Were they in bed because they thought that the bicycle could solve congestion? Or bring us faster from A to B? Or was there something more powerful connected to this humble machine?
In this presentation by Marco te Brömmelstroet, chair on Urban Mobility Futures at the University of Amsterdam, we will find out and get to know why understanding it is so important for our current mobility challenges.
