Frösvik-Vaxholm-Gustavsberg-Stockholm

Hi people! The weather for Saturday is looking great, so I want to do another long leisure-paced ride around Stockholm. Ride length around 65km, aiming for 15-20km/k, so not for racers. Commuter bikes should be fine.

We will meet at the Ropsten quay close to the T-bana station (you can go to Odenplan by pendeltåg if you leave through the Vanadisvägen exit). There we take pendelbåt line 80 towards Frösvik (40 minutes), then ride to Vaxholm, take two more very short ferries to cross to the east, then ride clockwise towards Gustavsberg and finally Stockholm Södra station. There are no trains around to leave early, but there's some other pendelbåt stops: Ålstäket in Värmdö (after 38km) and Riset in Kummelnäs (after 48km, plus 5km into the city). You can see the route here. We should be able to arrive in Stockolm around 14-15:00.

We should be at the quay 8:00 sharp, as the boat leaves at 8:10 and the next one is two hours later. You can take the boat in other stop if it's closer to you, but check the appropriate time. And if you do that, please comment below so we know you're not starting from Ropsten.

Pack appropriately for the ride: water, helmet, sunscreen, snacks... puncture kit and small pump is recommended if you have, just in case.
