SPEAKERS AND TALKS
Aleksei Epishev | Security Engineer | Exness
When Users Act Differently
A compromised credential rarely looks malicious on the surface: the password is correct, MFA is satisfied, and the session originates from an expected network. Because classic detection rules frequently struggle to catch account takeovers, behavior-based anomaly detection has emerged as one of the most effective capabilities a SOC can deploy.
Aleksei breaks down practical anomaly detection strategies for both user and service accounts, explains how to combine them effectively in production, and shares key lessons learned from building and operating behavioral detection systems.
Petr Zuzanov | Principal Security Researcher | Stream.Security
AI SOC — From Triage Assistant to Incident Response
SOC cannot be treated merely as a standalone function; it is a foundational building block of secure architecture. Even in the era of modern cloud/Kubernetes platforms, no environment is 100% secure by design, leaving detection and response to handle residual risks. Today's "AI SOC" hype often stumbles over the same hurdle: putting an LLM on top of a SIEM without fresh inventory and infrastructure context fails to deliver, and while AI cuts triage from hours to minutes, automated response still bottlenecks on human approvals.
In this session, Petr walks through real-world cases, discusses why "ChatGPT on top of Splunk" falls short, and presents live demos of AI-driven incident response keeping pace with modern attacks. Attendees will also get access to an open-source tool published on GitHub for their own evaluation.
Aleksei Gorban | Privacy Engineer at Meta, Red Teamer at TikTok, ex-Exness
One Tapping to Browser
Moving an authenticated mobile app user seamlessly into an external browser without prompting them to log in again seems like a simple UX requirement. Under the hood, however, it quickly turns into a complex identity and security protocol challenge spanning login CSRF, browser isolation, OS-level security boundaries, and app-store compliance rules.
Aleksei shares the journey through multiple promising architectural approaches, analyzing why standard implementations failed, how unexpected iOS and Android compatibility hurdles were tackled, and the robust, secure authentication flow they engineered in the end.
After the presentations, we organize a hookah lounge to chill and start insightful conversations with like-minded people. Join us, and let's enjoy a fantastic evening together!
