Drive - Vizag to Bhitharkanika Wildlife Sanctuary

Dear Adventure Enthusiasts,

Bhitarkanika National Park is a national park located in the Kendrapara District Odisha in eastern India. Core area of 145 square kilometre of the Bhitarkanika Wild Sanctuary, spread over 672 km2, has been designated as a National Park since 16th Sep 1998.

The national park is surrounded by the Bhitarkanika Wildlife Sanctuary. Gahirmatha Beach and Marine Sanctuary lies to the east, and separates swamp region cover with canopy of mangroves from the Bay of Bengal. Thus it become a vicinity of rich biodiversity

The park is home to Saltwater Crocodile (Crocodylus porosus), White Crocodile, Indian python, King Cobra, black ibis, darters and many other species of flora and fauna.

The national park and wildlife sanctuary is inundated by a number of rivers - Brahmani, Baitarni, Dhamra, Pathsala and others, which is catalysing the greenery of the forest.

Our schedule for this tour is as follows:

Friday (14th April 2017):

9:00 PM - assemble at D.A.R.E Office and start for Bhitrakanika in a bus.
(We are arranging transport🚌)

Saturday (15th April 2017):

10:00 AM - reaches a resort.
10:30 AM – Safari into the forest, Lunch, and Island Trip.🎿 🌄.
7:00 PM – Reaching the base camp, dinner and followed by campfire and stay in Swiss tents ⛺.

Sunday (16th April 2017):

5:00 AM - wake-up🌅
5:30 AM - start for a hike 🎿 and photoshoot.
8:30 AM - Have breakfast 🍞🍱, and start for Vizag
9:00 PM – Reaches Vizag.

1. Kids are allowed.

2. Group discipline should be maintained.

3. Proper safety measures and accommodation facilities are provided for ladies and gents separately.

4. Shoe, Toilet Kit, Water Bottle and a bag is mandatary.

Two days breakfast, lunch, snacks and Saturday night dinner will be provided.
