What we’re about
Welcome to D’Amico Dance — Houston’s home for West Coast Swing and Country Two-Step.
We specialize in helping real people (not just “dancers”) feel confident on the floor, make friends, and have fun. You do NOT need a partner and you do NOT need experience. We’ll introduce you, walk you through the basics, and get you moving comfortably at your own pace.
What we teach:
- West Coast Swing – smooth, musical, social partner dance you can do to blues, R&B, pop, and modern music.
- Country Two-Step – classic Texas country partner dance you’ll see in every country bar.
Both styles are taught in a relaxed, encouraging way with coaching moments.
Weekly opportunities to dance with us:
Mondays (Soundbox Studio – 3300 Chimney Rock Rd #500, Houston, TX 77056):
6:30–7:00 PM: FREE West Coast Swing Crash Course (perfect first step)
7:00–8:00 PM: Beginner West Coast Swing (start any week)
8:00–8:30 PM: Beginner Practice / Guided help
8:30–9:30 PM: Intermediate West Coast Swing
Wednesdays (Marcone’s, 708 E. Tidwell Rd, Houston, TX 77022):
7:00 PM: Beginner & Intermediate West Coast Swing classes
8:00–10:00 PM: Westie Wednesday Social Dance (come dance, meet people, hang out)
Thursdays (Soundbox Studio):
7:00 PM: Beginner West Coast Swing + Intermediate Two-Step
8:00–8:30 PM: FREE Two-Step Crash Course
8:30–9:30 PM: Intermediate West Coast Swing + Beginner Two-Step

- People who just moved to Houston and want to meet people
- Social dancers who want to level up clean technique
- Country dancers who want better Two-Step
- Anyone who wants confidence, connection, and a good night out that isn’t a bar crawl

Thursday: Free Two-Step Crash Course (8:00 PM)
Show up 10 minutes early and we’ll pair you with a partner, introduce you around, and take care of you.
