The art of developing semantic models is in flux, and so are the tools you wield. When AI agents are moving on your model, you need a clear view on what was changed and how it fits into the bigger picture of your model. In this session, we'll show you how that's done in Tabular Editor 3.

We'll show you how to:
- Connect an agent you already use, such as Claude Code or GitHub Copilot, to the model you have open through the MCP server, and delegate a task that involves multiple changes
- Decide what the agent may do, for example edit the model's metadata without reading its data
- Follow the agent's changes as it works, and revert all or only those changes you disagree with
- Let the built-in AI Assistant investigate a problem with you, discuss what it finds, and make the changes you agree on straight from the chat

Ruben Van de Voorde - Innovation Specialist at Tabular Editor

I investigate the frontier of semantic model development and consumption with visualization. I disseminate knowledge internally by improving workflows with AI and agents, and externally through articles and training materials, where we share user-centric ways of making better semantic models and visualizations.
