Hello my name is John and I am the owner & operator of the Mega Thrills promo. group we organize and run two open decks every week here in Dallas. In case you don't know what an "open deck" is, an "open deck" is an open mic but for disc jockeys.
This group exists so that beginner disc jockeys can sign up to perform at Mega Thrills promo. group open decks and those that are interested in attending our open decks can know where they are held. If you are a disc jockey and have never publicly performed this group is for you. We also welcome people who aren't interested in being a disc jockey but like attend events where disc jockeys will be performing to come as well.
The open decks we host are free to attend but if you want to perform there is a performance fee. Members that want to perform at either one of the open decks will be able to pay that fee through event rsvp here on Meetup. If you do not want to perform at Mega Thrills open deck you do not need to rsvp. You are free to walk in. The address of the location is listed in the event information.
