Instructional design is an authentic multidisciplinary field. Arts, communication sciences, educational technology, psychology of learning, curriculum studies, and pedagogy are coming together in instructional design. Accordingly, somebody believes that instructional design is an art and science.

It is an accepted idea that a professional instructional designer should know and apply the aforementioned sciences principles in designing instructions.

However, research and experience show some fatal mistakes such error in writing learning objectives, selecting and organizing contents, aligning contents and objectives and constructing tests in the designed training programs.

Members are also interested in
