Just Eat and News UK Tech have partnered up to host an exciting evening discussing the synergy of Business Analysis and Analytics within Product teams. Come and hear from speakers from both Tech teams, gaining an insight of the challenges each face during analysis of complex business problems, approach to working together and facilitate decision making - remaining data driven during feature development and experimentation phase.

6:35-7:00: Joanne Schwartz, Nina Jaswal, Kelly Freeman: The marriage of Analysts
Joanne Schwartz (Senior Group Analytics Manager), having worked in multiple agile technology companies brought her experience of cross-functional squads to Just Eat, ultimately transforming our approach to analytics, experimentation and MVP prioritisation.
Nina Jaswal (Senior Business Analyst) and Kelly Freeman (Analytics Manager) will give a case study example of working together in the Restaurant Revenue squad at Just Eat. Giving an honest insight into the approach, biggest challenges and added value to completing research and analysis to enable decision making, staying aligned and balancing this with BAU.
7:00-7:15: Snigdha Satti: A BA in Data Tech - The good, the bad and the ugly
Snigdha Satti, Senior Business Analyst at News UK will talk about her experiences of working in Data Technology for 1.5 years, developing INCA - a tool to help the Sun and the Times editorial to understand the user behaviour and metrics. She will present the value of a BA within the Data team, the challenges faced, lessons learnt and looking back at what could have been done better.
7:15-7:30: Joe Bullock: Data in the Middle - Facilitating Interactions
Joe is a BA in the Data Platforms team at News UK. His career has focused on data and information management, and he is particularly interested in how we can organise data and information to help people access it effectively. He has worked in a range of roles, from software development to project management to client work, across the fields of search, content management and data visualisation.
