SINGLES Work Party Meetup!
Hosted by Pasado's Safe Haven Get-Togethers
Details
Our work parties are one-of-a-kind opportunities to bond with coworkers and friends while helping the animals! Each work party gets a tour of the sanctuary. Be sure to bring a lunch and plenty of water.
No matter what project we have for you, you can be assured that work gloves and good boots will be part of the uniform, as work on the farm is often hard and muddy, but it is also so rewarding at the end of the day to know that you made such a huge difference to the animals.
All skilled labor is welcome and encouraged. Painters, builders, plumbers, electricians, and heavy equipment operators.
Past work parties have done tasks like: clear and burn bushes that could be a danger to the animals, clear paths for dog walking, paint fences, clean barns, paint buildings/barns, dig a man-made pond for the ducks, grounds keeping, rock picking in the pastures, animal “beautification days,” build enclosures or repair fencing, make fences “dig proof”, assist with many “upgrades” to existing structures or enclosures in order to add enrichment to the lives of our animals, sort/clean and label donated items in our storage barn, prepare for large events like Home for the Howlidays…and so many other things that better the lives of all who live at Pasado’s sanctuary.
When you arrive at the gate, call Dana 561-379-9170 and she will "click" you in. Then, you will be directed to park at the Resource Center.
